Milestone Studios

Milestone Studios and Gallery was founded in July 2022 by mother and daughter duo Mandy and Charlie Collins. It is a creative space in the heart of New Mills, in the beautiful Peak District.

Designed with artists in mind, the studio combines upstairs workspaces with a ground-floor gallery, shop and workshop area. The fully equipped workshop, features equipment such as an incredible 1830’s Columbian printing press.

The exhibitions programme showcases a diverse mix of emerging and established artists. Exhibitions are designed to be welcoming, accessible, and thought-provoking.

The studio shop is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm, and offers a carefully curated selection of art materials, original works, handmade gifts, zines, cards and more, all created by local, independent makers.

A maximum of 6 people allowed per workshop at this venue.

“I had a fantastic day! I was a complete beginner and a bit nervous at the start, but Lucy was a brilliant teacher and explained everything really clearly. I was so happy with what I produced at the end. I’d recommend to anyone.”
