‘Mr Fox’ Christmas Card

(4 customer reviews)

I love the darkness in some of my acid plate images, it can be a playground for introducing subtle humour in amongst the menacing characters that I create. This was the recipe when I created the sly ‘Mr Fox’ alongside the ‘we take no messing’ images of ‘Cluck’ and ‘Squawk’. The images work great as a set of prints and ‘Mr Fox’ was prime picking for another humourous twist when I added this new card to my Christmas card range.

I was interested to read on Lucy’s new website about the process that goes into making acid plate etchings. This is the technique used to produce ‘Mr Fox’, who looks a bit less scary in his Christmassy scarf! I bought this for a friend who derives great pleasure from the beautiful urban foxes that visit her communal gardens in Manchester. It’s a really unusual card and the quality – as with all Lucy’s products – is top quality.

Mr Fox is in Christmas mode, looking warm and cosy for his festive exploits! I love those design – Lucy has given him such character!

Too PRECIOUS! My Christmas recipient will LOVE this one!

Bought this characterful card for my partner, we have an urban fox who’s a regular visitor and he will love this fantastic card. Maybe I should buy “our fox” a scarf
