Sheep Christmas Cards

Here's a jolly black Herdwick sheep wrapped up in his woolly scarf enjoying a flurry of snow fall. Sheep are always depicted as quiet and subdued in the winter snow in Christmas cards. I like to think that the animals in my art have feelings and emotions and I picture them as here as giddy and excited as many of us are Christmas! The bright red background with falling snow gives a true festive feel at Christmas time as does the Christmas scarf. These funny black sheep Christmas cards are inspired by my farm animal card range.
