Limited edition handprinted original screen print of a Guapa my Podenco Canario dog who I adopted after she was rescued from the Canary Islands.

As many of you know I lovingly own two beautiful Podenco Canario dogs Guapa and Kenia. This original Spanish Podenco screen print is inspired by my gorgeous Guapa. I adopted Guapa from the wonderful charity Hope for Podencos run by Steve Allan. The charity is located in Albacete in southern Spain. Steve works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Podencos from Spain and the Canary Islands. He even drove Guapa all the way from Spain to my door here in the UK on one of his regular adoption runs! I also had the pleasure of volunteering with my daughter at the charity in Spain and witnessed the amazing work first hand. They are always looking for volunteers!
This screen print for me encapsulates the beautiful statuesque silhouette of a Podenco set against a Spanish blue sky. I will be donating £10 from each sale from this screen print to Hope For Podencos to support their great work.
