‘Lion and Bird’ Lion Etching Print

My images are all about the narrative they conjure up. This little bird in my lion etching has something very important to tell the king of the jungle. The relationship between two very different creatures and the story that this image creates is all part of the reason I love to draw animals and to in some way tell their story. Drawing a lion is the next best thing to drawing a cat. Part of my acid etchings collection.
