‘When The Dark Clouds Have Lifted’ Love Birds Print

This hand printed linocut features two blackbirds very much in love. Life can often be a challenge, but when the clear skies arrive everything can become better. I wrote this short verse during a difficult time. I decided to use two birds and some blue clouds to illustrate this image. This love birds Valentine print is an original art print which is part of my Love Gifts and Valentine Gifts collections. It makes a perfect gift for Valentines Day or any other special occasion throughout the year for lovers & bird lovers alike. Each part of the image is designed and carved using lino and the inked up and printed by hand. The short verse is made into a rubber stamp and printed at the bottom of each print and is carefully positioned to work well with the printed image on each of my 'love' handprinted images.
