Not very original I’m sure…but I had a wonderful time here, great food, great company, great lake. I would recommend it to anyone who would want to learn about printmaking and I will be back in October! It’s great to discover so many types of printmaking in such a little amount of time. Thanks Lucy for making it possible!

I really enjoyed the printmaking holiday with Lucy and would recommend it to anyone. The location in Portugal was amazing, and the whole week relaxing and fun. I also learnt a lot – as a newcomer to printmaking I wondered how I would get on – however Lucy made each of the processes easy to access. I was free to try things out, experiment, and find my own pace and what worked for me. There seemed to be just the right amount of materials, and Lucy was on hand to answer questions when they arose.
The extra trips out as a group added to the whole experience. The art, the food, the trips out, all seemed to flow well into each other, and Lucy seems to attract lovely people onto her trips to work, learn, create, eat, and celebrate together. A great few days away. Thanks Lucy

Just wonderful! Beautiful location and the hotel was fabulous – simple but very comfortable. Food was outstanding. Birdwatching and pottery trip were great and so good to see some of the surrounding countryside to gain inspiration. The other participants were delightful – a great mix of skill levels from total beginner to quite experienced. All enthusiastic and non – judgmental and doing it for enjoyment. What a great learning environment! Lucy was very well prepared, attentive and full of ideas, experimentation encouraged. Lots of patience, great teacher! Overall I couldn’t of enjoyed it more.

Dear Lucy, for me personally, this trip was just what I needed, just when I needed it. The printmaking, swimming, peaceful surroundings, comradery, companionship, animals and family-feel mealtimes. I couldn’t have wished for more. THANK YOU. It helped me remember who I am after a long period of prioritising everyone else xxx
