Fantastic Tuition in amazing surroundings. Swimming, fabulous food and hospitality in a quiet beautiful place. Going home with a body of work I’ll be pleased to show off!

Overall…I was simply in blissful happiness from start to end! The location is…well…paradise! The landscape, the gardens, the wonderful spotless quirky rooms, amazing food and lovely hosts. But then to add to that, relaxed days of creativity without distraction in a perfect setting with Lucy patiently and happily making sure everyone was comfortable and happy and knew what they were doing…that’s no mean feat with a group of mixed abilities and requirements. I’ve looked forward to this holiday for months and it surpassed all expectations. I’m leaving (sadly) but with a head full of happy memories, new ideas and techniques to try and a bag full of the week’s creations. It’s been an absolute privilege. Thank you x

Fabulous! 🙂 Frank, Daniela and their team are the perfect hosts. The Quinta is everything I want from a place to stay. The informal atmosphere suited me. Lucy, your tuition is easy going and very encouraging. Your generosity with supplies was much appreciated. I needed a complete break from home stresses and that’s what I’ve had. The memories from this holiday will sustain me through harder times and I’ll continue printing now I have a bit of confidence and know that I can produce work I’m pleased with. Thank you so much.

Paradise. Loved the location, the food, the company and the chance to make prints with a bunch of friendly people.

The week lived up to my expectations. 10/10, just the right combination of printing and free time. Food and hosts were excellent. Paradise indeed and a much needed well earned break. Lovely group of peeps which always helps.

I had a wonderful time, it was relaxing and I learnt a lot at the same time. The location, whilst not 5 star accommodation is unbelievable. The views and the garden and lake are truly paradise alike. The amount of time spent doing printmaking was just about right, having the majority of afternoons for free time was perfect. I really enjoyed the group togetherness and didn’t feel like the odd one out as the only male! I think Lucy really makes the holiday too, with her enthusiasm and general joy and happiness at passing on and sharing her knowledge as well as her love of animals! Thank you for all your hard work. I would definitely consider coming again in the future.

The printmaking holiday met all my expectations both on the printing part and the holiday part. It has been social and for me it has been great to meet different people who all have given different types of inspiration. You are a great comforting teacher and I feel your guidance has made me more confident about how to execute the different techniques. I loved the stay at Frank and Daniela’s. The environment is lovely and has inspired me a lot this week.

My time at the Quinta has been relaxing, informative, friendly and sociable. It’s a beautiful place to learn a new skill. Thank you for your patience as I realised I needed a little more guidance. Thank you to all of you for making it a very welcome space.
