Funny Bear Birthday Cards

My 'Hey Bear' funny bear birthday cards are blank inside and so can be used for any other occasion too. The image has been taken from my 'Hey Bear' acid etching which was inspired by watching the Gordon Buchanan television program 'The Bear Family and Me'. In the program Gordon spends a lot of his time calling the black bears using the phrase 'Hey Bear'. Gordon's gentle approach to communicating with these beautiful creatures won his trust with them and allowed him to get close enough to film throughout the year. This image depicts one of these wonderful creatures checking out his calls from the silver birch trees.
