Fluffy Cat Art Monoprint

This black fluffy cat art print is a hand printed monoprint. I cut the images out of card and ink them up and print them. It's a bit like potato printing but much more sophisticated! I love the textures created by printing this way and the silhouettes of the images and how they combine together. This cat is inspired by my own grey fluffy cat, Matty. It's called 'Pondering Puss'. Matty can often be seen in the garden watching the birds and other wildlife whilst appearing in deep thought. I wonder what she is thinking about? Is it the creatures darting in and out of the garden or is it her dinner? Perhaps its the same thing!
