New Born Cards

These mother and baby black bear cards are blank inside and so can be used for a birthday or any other occasion. They also lend themselves particular well to being sent as new born cards. The image is taken from an original screen print which features a mother bear keeping a close eye on her baby bear climbing in the bamboo. I was inspired to create this print after watching 'The Bear Family and Me' television programme filmed by Gordon Buchanan. During the filming baby Hope, a black bear, disappears up a silver birch tree and Lily bear spends some considerable time trying to coax her little one down. The print is now sold out the the greeting card continues to be very popular.
