This acid etching of a mother and baby panda bear is the first in a series of bear art images I have planned depicting the bond between a mother or father and it’s child. Panda’s are raised by their mothers where they spend the first 18 months to 2 years of their life. These two Panda’s are surrounded by green bamboo in their home habitat of China and it is their main source of food in the mountains. Panda’s black eye patches and white and black fur was a perfect start to this edition of etchings. I look forward to creating the next one. Part of my bear art prints collection.
