This original hand printed giraffe screen print art shows the affection between a giraffe mother and her baby calf. The image was originally was created as an acid plate etching which is also available on my website. I then I decided to create the same drawing as a screen print using colourful tones of turquoise and pale yellow with dark grey for the line work. The yellow conjures up the warmth of the African arid plains where giraffes inhabit.
