‘Same Storm – Different Boat’ Pandemic Art print
This original hand printed screen print features three ships in a bottle in a turbulent storm watched by two seagulls. This hand printed 6 colour screen print has been created to illustrate the difficult times we have all found ourselves in during the years of 2020-2021 in the global pandemic. Many of us were living our lives in different boats but unfortunately in the same storm. This difficult time created a feeling of isolation for many people often what is experienced by sailors out at sea. I’m sure if we could have put this global problem in a bottle, we would have. I was definitely using my creativity during this time to keep my mind focused on positivity.
10% of each sale will be donated to The Oasis Centre in Gorton, Manchester – a charity dedicated to helping local families in need including families on benefits, long term unemployed, asylum seekers and refugees, homeless people, ex-offenders and those struggling with drug or alcohol addictions and mental health issues. I would like to take this opportunity to help this charity during this difficult time.

Linda –
When Lucy brought this print out in the pandemic it really resonated with me. It seemed to sum up everything we were all going through, but expressed with her unique and humorous voice. Arrived quickly and beautifully wrapped and now has pride of place on the wall. Beautiful!
